Tina Lobondi Brings the African Print to the European Fashion

S/S 2014 print trend

Printed designs made a bold appearance in the S/S 2014 collections at the runway Fashion Weeks in New York, Paris, London and Milan, last fall.  Fashion designers have brought on the front row innovative and reborn prints just enough to complete a fresh and chic look. Ethnic and abstract, checks and stripes, animal and floral, exotic and vibrant, prints have made a dramatic impact on the runway fashion shows and they have already established the main fashion trends for S/S 2014. I dare say this Spring is going to be the season of the print!

Among them, the African prints bring  a range of joyful colors and playful patterns, unveiling the beauty and personality of the African fashion. Congolese-born, Tina Lobondi is one of the talented fashion designers who shows  exquisite concepts of African prints. Elegance with timeless style, classic and chic designs, her ready-to-wear collection features ethnic prints inspired from the African region of Congo. Tina Lobondi’s collection is an amazing blend of traditional prints of Congolese motifs with influences from the European fashion.

I always loved people who, in the race and struggles for success, have never forgot to be human. Tina Lobondi is one of them, as she has been  donated her garments as auction prizes to raise money for charities such as The Georges Malaika Foundation. Tina also supports The Sacred Childhoods Foundation through Finding Your Feet Fashion, a youth led project.
