Southern Country Style

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful time during the Holiday season and Santa stopped by your house with the presents you asked for. I personally had a wonderful time watching old Christmas movies, talking on the phone with dear friends, and sharing memories with my family and friends.

The New Years Eve was an unexpected invite to a truly Southern-style party at a local farm. I was excited like a child to meet new people, to taste Southern country culinary, and above all to experience the real Southern country lifestyle. I am a city woman but I like the rustic countryside with friendly and honest people who make you feel welcome and are pleased to have you as a guest. Everybody got together around the campfire, talked to each other like they knew each other for years, kids played around laughing and giggling, all together celebrating the last day of the year.

Trying to blend in the country style and taking in consideration the chili weather, I choose a knitted scarf, turtleneck tank top and a very comfy lace beige jumper, skinny pants, and of course the boots. I truly enjoyed letting my inner country girl out.
