Pastel Colors Scream Spring!

Is it  Spring already? Not yet but I sure am ready for the Spring and for the new fashion trend: the pastel colors. Let’s talk about the pastel palette and how to get ready for the new season ahead: Spring in style with pastel colors.

The first color that I have in my mind when I think of Spring is definitely the everlasting Green. Grayed jade, Emerald, and Tender shoots are tones of green that bring freshness, exuberance, and sparkle. I need this for a strong attitude!

The soft blue is not for toddlers anymore this Spring. Dusk blue and Monaco Blue complement each other and bring the calm and serenity like a sunny day with clearly sky.

Nectarine is an orange warm color touch while Lemon zest is the sunshine that brings a smile on your face. The Linen is the skin tone, light and diaphane. Puppy red and African violet are the vivid colors that keep the balance. These colors bring  exuberance, fun, and exotic shades of color that complete the Spring pastel color palette.

The vibrant pastel colors work for each hair color or skin tone, while the soft shades can be tough for women with dark or pale skin tones. The good news is that some designers have created neon pastels that can be mixed and matched with pastel hues or print flowers. Therefore everybody can be stylish and trendy. Let your imagination work this Spring! Wear vibrant, soft or neon pastel colors and most importantly: have FUN.

I had fun with pastel colors while I ate a frozen yogurt at SweetFrog in North Myrtle Beach. My son was the “designer” mixing the flavors and colors and topping the frozen yogurt with sprinkle and a cherry on top. It was delicious and the vibrant colors from the shop reminded me of the trendy colors of Spring 2013.
